Released 9 July 2026. The biggest update so far — new frontier models, image generation, shareable answers, and third-party connectors.

#What It Does

#New models

GPT-5.6 arrived in three flavours — Sol, Terra and Luna — connected through a new method built to combine deep reasoning with tool use, so the assistant thinks and acts more reliably within a single turn.

They joined Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Haiku 4.5, Claude Fable 5 and Gemini 3.1 Pro. Switch labs in a tap, or ask a Panel of Experts and get several models answering the same question side by side.

#Image Studio

Generate images grounded in your own context. Run two frontier models against the same prompt and compare them side by side, guide the result with your own photos, then refine using whichever you prefer.

#Sharing got much richer

  • Share a whole Q&A thread as a public link, or email it to several people at once.
  • Shared folders now appear inside Inventory and Documents, rather than being hidden away in a separate area.

#Chat

  • Conversations title themselves automatically.
  • Q&A threads are tappable and reopen any time.
  • "Ask AI about this" appears on any item or document.
  • Markdown import.
  • Web-search sources are titled and clickable, instead of bare URLs.

#Scan

View a product's Digital Product Passport in a clean in-app viewer — ingredients, sustainability information, provenance.

#Connect

Link Linear, GitHub and other services directly into chat, with clearer and safer tool approvals so you always know what the assistant is about to do on your behalf.

#How to Use It

  • Image Studio — open it from the Scan tab or ask the assistant to create an image.
  • Panel of Experts — tap the model selector in chat and choose the panel option.
  • Connectors — Settings → Connected Services.
  • Digital Product Passports — scan a product that carries one; the viewer opens from the item.

#Known Limitations

  • Image generation consumes tokens at a higher rate than text. The cost is shown before you commit.
  • Connectors require you to authorise each service, and approvals are per-tool by design.
